Description

Each year ANNA recognizes and rewards outstanding achievement in areas such as clinical practice, education, management, quality care, research, and collaboration. The Outstanding Contribution to ANNA Award aims to recognize one nephrology nurse who has made outstanding contributions to the goals of ANNA. Candidates for the award will be nominated. Candidates must be current full members of ANNA, having been a member for a minimum of the last 2 years as of the application deadline. Candidates must be actively involved in nephrology nursing related health care services and have active participation in ANNA as a full member at local and/or national level. Candidates must have a significant contribution to the growth and effective functioning of ANNA and nephrology nursing and have participated in successful resolution of complex or difficult issues of ANNA. Candidates may have served as any officer for the organization except as President within the past 5 years dating from the National Symposium at which the presidency was assumed.
