Perry J. Gehring Diversity Student Travel Award, with an application deadline in October, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Ethnicity requirements apply.

Description

The Perry J. Gehring Diversity Student Travel Award Fund was established to recognize an undergraduate or graduate student who was previously selected to participate in the SOT Undergraduate Diversity Program at the SOT Annual Meeting 2022-2025, who is Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, American Indian or Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, and who is presenting an abstract at the upcoming Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting. Preference will be given to graduate students. Applicants must submit the copy of the abstract they submitted from the abstract submission system for the 2026 SOT Annual Meeting. The abstract submission deadline is October 15. The general abstract submission deadline is November 13. The online nomination form, submitted by the advisor, is also required.
