As a leading law firm in our nation's capital, Price Benowitz Accident Injury Lawyers, LLP is committed to making social justice a cornerstone of our practice's values. Their goal is to ensure that all people have access to the same opportunities for education, self-improvement, and civic involvement, regardless of their socioeconomic circumstances. To further their vision of making the world a better and more equitable place, the firm offers a scholarship to individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to social justice and community outreach. The firm recognizes that education is an important foundation upon which positive, sustainable change can be built, and they are happy to help fund the educational endeavors of outstanding individuals. This year, the scholarship is helping to raise awareness about the challenges individuals with disabilities have to meet and overcome each day. This scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. This includes incoming first-year college students who are high school graduates or possess a GED. The scholarship candidate must be interested in social justice, as demonstrated by past and present volunteer, professional, and educational experiences. Candidates must be in good overall academic standing. Preference will be given to students either from or attending secondary school in the state.
