ProQuest Doctoral Dissertation Award, with an application deadline in April, offers numerous awards of $1000 each.

Description

The ProQuest Doctoral Dissertation Award recognizes the most outstanding doctoral dissertation or thesis in information science the preceding twelve months. For this award, "information science" is considered to include all the communication activities and information science and technology fields noted in the ASIS&T Constitution and Bylaws. The author must have completed their doctorates in the time period between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024. The author must be a current member in good standing of ASIS&T. Prior award winners, current members of the Awards and Honors Committee, and current members of the Board of Directors are not eligible. The final, submitted version of the entire dissertation and a letter of endorsement from the nominee's dissertation advisor must be submitted.
