Rosenberg-Ibarra Humanitarian Scholarship, with an application deadline in January, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist.

Description

The Rosenberg-Ibarra Humanitarian Scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student for leadership and activities that promote understanding, awareness, and appreciation of persons of diverse backgrounds. Three essays are required, the Personal Statement and the Community Involvement essay may be submitted in written form or a video essay. Optional materials that can be included with the application are academic transcripts; a resume with work experience, school activities and honors, and extracurricular and community activities, including volunteer roles, arts, and/or activism; a letter of recommendation; and 1-2 writing or art samples. Transcripts are only required for applicants from Washington. Applicants from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, or Oregon are not required to submit transcripts.
