Eligibility

RSESS Graduate Student Excellence Award, with an application deadline in November, offers numerous awards that vary in amount.

Description

The Regulatory and Safety Evaluation Specialty Section (RSESS) plans to continue its practice of providing awards to trainees who have presentations that are broadly applicable to regulatory toxicology or safety evaluation. The award is open to graduate students who will be presenting a poster or making a platform presentation at the next SOT Annual Meeting. Applications will be judged on the quality of the abstract and synopsis, relevance to the field, and strength of the support letter. The monetary award for the selected awardees can be used for registration or travel support to the SOT Annual Meeting, other scientific meetings relevant to their work, or applied to training courses (online or in-person) that will advance their research skills and/or future professional development. Applicants must submit the abstract of the work that they will be presenting at the SOT meeting, and a letter of recommendation from their advisor. Please visit the award's website or contact the Society of Toxicology for more information.
