Description

Toxicologists of African Origin will present one student and one postdoctoral fellow travel awards to the Annual Society of Toxicology Meeting. These awards enable outstanding students and postdoctoral fellows showing great scientific promise to attend the annual meeting. The awards provide assistance towards defraying the cost of travel expenses. The nominee must be a student or postdoctoral fellow; and be an SOT member and TAO member (or applicant). Nominees must have an accepted abstract at the next upcoming SOT Annual Meeting; and must submit a copy of the abstract, including SOT Abstract Number. They must present in an oral plenary or symposium at the upcoming SOT Annual Meeting to receive the award. Nominees must also submit a letter of support from their undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral advisor. Please visit the award's website or contact the Society of Toxicology for more information.
