TechWaste Recycling Scholarship, with an application deadline in January, offers one award in the amount of $1000. Restricted to those with financial need.Description
TechWaste Recycling Inc. provides secure, sustainable, and responsible recycling of electronic items, hard drive data destruction, product destruction, and IT assets disposition. The TechWaste Recycling Scholarship 2024 is a program run by TechWaste Recycling Inc. for college and high school students, which aims to increase awareness about electronics recycling. Applicants may be high school and college students of any major; and be US citizens or foreign citizens living in the United States. They must not be an employee or a family member of an employee of TechWaste Recycling. Having a double nationality is not an issue with the TechWaste Recycling Scholarship. Applicants may submit a video or an essay related to the TechWaste Recycling Scholarship theme. The TechWaste Recycling Scholarship for Better eWaste Ideas will be judged based on the video submitted by applicants in line with e-recycling and its impact on the community. Applicants may write an original essay about their community and ideas on how they would impact Electronic Recycling in their community. They must post the essay on a blog website. At the end of the essay, please mention TechWaste Recycling and add a link to the Scholarship page. Applicants may also submit a video instead with original content, between 1-5 minutes long, uploaded to YouTube or another video-sharing website with a public permission set. The description of the video must mention TechWaste Recycling and link to TechWasteRecycling. Applicants must also submit a Letter of Motivation where they can mention why they are a good candidate for the TechWaste Recycling Scholarship and what they plan to do if they win.
