The Doyle Foundation, Inc. Scholarships, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Doyle Foundation, Inc. Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors or students at any age beyond that. There is no income cap requirement; there is no minimum grade point average requirement. One may enroll in any field of study. Scholarship recipients can be undergraduate or graduate students. They may attend vocational and trade schools, community colleges (including CTE programs), state universities, and schools outside of California and Nevada public and private schools. Students are eligible to apply if they are a graduating senior or past graduate (G.E.D. is acceptable) of the Huntington Beach Union High School District in Southern California; they are a graduate or student of the Huntington Beach Adult School in the Huntington Beach Union High School District in Southern California; they are a graduating senior or past graduate (G.E.D. is acceptable) of the Washoe County School District in Northern Nevada; they are a graduate or student of the Washoe Adult High School in the Washoe County School District in Northern Nevada; or they are a graduate or current, or previous student of any of the following Community Colleges in Southern California: Coastline, Cypress, Fullerton, Golden West, Irvine Valley, Orange Coast, Saddleback, Santa Ana or Santiago Canyon, or Truckee Meadows Community College in Nevada. Applicants are required to submit two letters of recommendation. The Doyle Foundation, Inc. scholarships are for one year at a time and do not automatically renew. Applicants must re-apply each year, and may or may not be awarded each year they apply. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
