Description

Students majoring in music are eligible for a $4,000 scholarship. Students wishing to perform in a music ensemble as non-music majors are eligible for a $2,000 scholarship. A limited number of full-tuition scholarships will be awarded to music majors. All scholarships will be awarded based on a School of Music audition. All students who wish to major in music must audition for admittance to the Bachelor of Music, the Bachelor of Music Education, or the Bachelor of Arts degree program. That audition will also serve towards consideration for a music scholarship. Non-music majors are invited to audition as well for a music scholarship to participate in UTulsa ensembles. Students interested in either pursuing a music degree or earning a music scholarship must first apply for admission to the university. Students who express an interest in music will be prompted to schedule an audition as part of The University of Tulsa application process. On-campus auditions for 2026 are January 31, February 7, and February 14. For students who are unable to attend the on-campus audition dates, The University of Tulsa application system will provide instructions for scheduling an alternate date or submitting a video audition. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the School of Music at The University of Tulsa for more information.
