Eligibility
Tomaszkiewicz-Florio Scholarship, with an application deadline in April, offers numerous awards that vary in amount.Description
Each year since the summer of 2016, a private couple in Wisconsin has generously donated funds to the Kosciuszko Foundation for scholarships to support Wisconsin students of Polish descent to study the Polish language and history through the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. To be eligible, applicants must be high school seniors who are 18 by the first day of the program; undergraduate freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors; or graduate students. Applicants may also be American citizens of Polish descent or legal permanent residents of Polish descent (green card holders). Applicants must be non-resident Wisconsin students who attend Wisconsin colleges and universities. Two letters of recommendation from teachers or professors with whom the applicants have studied recently must be submitted. One of the letters can come from an officer or supervisor of an organization or club in which the applicant is active or for which they volunteer. If there is a KF Chapter near the high school or college which the applicant attends, they must submit a PDF of their application form and their supporting materials to their local KF Chapter. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
