Tri-County EMC $400 Scholarships, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $400 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Tri-County EMC $400 Scholarships will be awarded to a non-traditional student. Applicants must be a child of a Tri-County Electric member; or live in a home served by Tri-County Electric; or have attended high school in Tri-County EMC's territory: Charles B. Aycock, Eastern Wayne, Wayne School of Engineering, Wayne Early College, Rosewood, Southern Wayne, Spring Creek, East Duplin, Duplin Early College, James Kenan, North Duplin, North Lenoir, or South Lenoir. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. These recommendations can be from an employer, educator, or leader with the community where the applicant has been involved. Applicants must be willing to be interviewed by the committee, if necessary, and attend the scholarship banquet. Scholarship Banquet date to be decided.
