Twomey Family Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Twomey Family Scholarship will be awarded to students who are current or former foster youth. Applicants must be currently attending or plan to attend a community college, four-year university, or graduate school in the United States in the fall. They must have a demonstrated commitment to serving their community and/or work experience. If awarded, recipients will need to provide documentation of current or former foster youth status after being selected as a scholarship recipient. Acceptable forms of documentation include IEP, letter from ILS worker, CASA, other foster youth serving organization, or medical paperwork.
