Description

Idaho State University is proud to be a participating institution in the Yellow Ribbon Program. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. This program allows institutions of higher learning in the United States to voluntarily enter into an agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs to fund non-resident tuition expenses that exceed the resident tuition and fees which are covered by the Post-9/11 G.I.Bill benefit. Under this agreement ISU will fund 50 percent of the eligible non-resident expenses and the VA will match ISU to cover the remainder of the eligible non-resident expenses. Applicants must be a veteran or eligible dependent of a veteran. They must have been found eligible to receive Chapter 33 Post 9/11 G.I. Bill benefits at 100 percent eligibility or have been found eligible to receive Chapter 33 Post 9/11 Transfer Of Entitlement at 100 percent eligibility. Applicants must also have been admitted as non-Idaho resident students. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
