Description

The VCU Study Abroad Airfare Voucher Award was established on behalf of VCU students pursuing study abroad through the VCU Office of Procurement Services. This award offers an airline voucher, equivalent to an economy class seat, through Delta Airlines (not including taxes and fees) for travel on an approved program. Scholarships are available for students on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses only. Applicants will be evaluated based on demonstrated financial need as determined by GEO. Students enrolled in study abroad programs that include group flights are not currently eligible for the Airfare Voucher Award; however, to promote accessibility, such students are still encouraged to apply. Up to three selected applicants per scholarship cycle may have their flights funded through the Global Education Office's budget, with the value capped at $2,000 per student. If awarded, this amount will be applied as a reduction to the student's billed program fee through their VCU student account, excluding taxes and fees. To be eligible for this scholarship, the student's study abroad program must take place during the spring 2026 term (which includes winter break and spring break 2026). Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
