Description

The Vi Palo Alto Scholarship was made possible through the generous contributions of the residents of Vi Palo Alto. The program has been created to help Vi Palo Alto employees and/or their dependents with the costs of studying at qualified educational institutions. Applicants must be an employee or employee dependent of Vi at Palo Alto, who must have completed at least 6 months employment at the time of the application deadline; and work an average of 12 hours per week minimum. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. They may be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Applicants must be preparing to enroll in a qualified and accredited educational institution. These scholarships are awarded for certified training schools, community colleges and college programs leading to a bachelor's or advanced degree. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from one of the following: a teacher or academic advisor; and/or a volunteer or work supervisor, community leader or personal acquaintance. Personal recommendation letters cannot come from parents or relatives. Students must apply each academic year if they want to receive a scholarship.
