Virginia DAR Nursing Scholarship, with an application deadline in January, offers 2 awards of $2500 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

Scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who will continue their education at an accredited Virginia school of nursing. Students applying to a Virginia community college transition program leading to a four-year degree and home-schooled students are also eligible to apply. A cover sheet for the DAR Scholarship Application with the signature of the applicant, a letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor, and the Virginia Scholarship Financial Need form must be submitted. All required forms, transcripts, and letters must be submitted through mail in one envelope. Electronic applications are not permitted.
