Wallace G. Iverson Promise Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Wallace G. Iverson Promise Scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors from all public and private schools within the boundaries of Medford, Central Point, Eagle Point, and Phoenix/Talent School Districts. Applicants must be highly motivated to succeed despite personal challenges (e.g., family or health-related). Preference will be given to students who will enroll at Rogue Community College and Southern Oregon University. Semifinalists will be interviewed by the selection committee and will be asked to provide a letter of recommendation, which must not be submitted with the application packet. This scholarship is automatically renewable for one additional year if renewal criteria are met.
