West Virginia Golf Association Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The West Virginia Golf Association Scholarship will be awarded to students in any college or university who have either (1) Played golf in West Virginia as an amateur for recreation or competition, or (2) have been or are presently employed in West Virginia as a caddie, groundskeeper, etc. Applicants must also include a reference by a coach, golf professional, or employer and explain how the game of golf has made an impact in their life. This must also be reflected in the required personal essay. Applicants must submit their most recent grades. They do not have to be the official transcripts.
