Description

The Whitney Grummon Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of the late Whitney Grummon, who was an exemplary teacher and coach at North Monterey County High School and Carmel High School. Her passion for social justice is also acknowledged by the requisites of these scholarships, one of each to be awarded at NMCHS and CHS annually. The recipients at the respective high schools will be selected by the Grummon-Parker family with input from community and school stakeholders. Applicants must be graduating seniors. Selection will be made based on academics, participation in athletics, and demonstration of advocating for the rights of others.
