Description

The Whitney Grummon Memorial Scholarship has been established in honor of the late Whitney Grummon who was an exemplary teacher and coach at North Monterey County High School and Carmel High School. Her passion for social justice is also acknowledged by the requisites of these scholarships, one of each to be awarded at NMCHS and CHS annually. The recipients at the respective high schools will be selected by the Grummon-Parker family with input from community and school stakeholders. Selection of graduating seniors annually, one each from NMCHS and CHS, will be made based on academics, participation in athletics, and demonstration of advocating for the rights of others. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Community Foundation for Monterey County for more information.
