Window of Opportunity Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $1000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Window of Opportunity Scholarship was established to award current graduating or prior Gillespie County high school graduates who have either participated in Fredericksburg Academic Boosters Mentoring Program or who are ranked in the bottom 50 percent of their class. A recipient of the scholarship may reapply for 3 consecutive years. The recipient will be considered equally along with other applicants. Selection of recipients is based on participation in FAB or GPA in the bottom 50 percent of class, as well as financial need.
