The Harriet Irsay Scholarship awards a scholarship to students, preferably of Polish Heritage, who wish to continue their education after high school and through college. With an eye toward the future and the distribution of information regarding Polish culture, history and people, the grants are given to students from a variety of majors and academic disciplines. All areas of study are considered, including Liberal Art History, Polish Studies, and Public Relations. Graduate Student in business programs whose thesis is preferably directly related to Poland; and Graduate Student in all majors whose thesis is preferably on a Polish subject may also apply. An original article written by the applicant on any subject about Poland must be submitted. Three original recommendation letters from Teaching or others who are familiar with the academic background and the applicant's plans for the future are also required. The Dan M. Reichard, Jr. Scholarship will be awarded to an applicant dedicated to a career in the business administration or management area of the transit industry. Applicants should demonstrate a continued interest in a career in the public transportation industry, high academic achievement, need for financial assistance, and involvement in extracurricular citizenship and leadership activities. Applicants must be College student or those seeking advanced degrees. All returning applicants must be sponsored by a member organization of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). Any member may serve as a sponsor. First-time applicants are not required to obtain a sponsor. Two letters of recommendation that should address the applicant's commitment, demonstrated interest, and career goals in public transportation must be submitted. Recommendations must not come from relatives. Applicants must be in good academic standing. They must enclose documentation from their school verifying they are in good academic standing and that they are maintaining the required class load. With that in mind, the 2024 Shelving.com Business Scholarship is now open and available to students pursuing a business-related field of study. Applicants must be either currently attending an accredited college or university, or are High School Senior currently enrolled or planning to enroll in college or university. The University of San Francisco School of Management Entrepreneurship and Innovation Merit Scholarship is awarded to a student who currently owns or operates or previously owned or operated a business or organization. Merit scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated superior academic and/or professional achievements and outstanding talent or commitment to extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The Bok Scholarship in Business is open to students with financial needs in the College of Business who demonstrate high academic performance and are not considered for other scholarships.

The A. J. & Lynn Amato College of Business Administration Endowed Scholarship was established to assist students in getting a high-quality Sam Houston State University education.

The Willie A. Deese Scholarship is available to all majors in the Deese College of Business and Economics. Full scholarship recipients will receive tuition, fees, traditional housing, and a meal plan. The application for incoming freshmen will open on August 15, 2024, and the priority and final deadline is November 15, 2024, and December 15, 2024, respectively. On the other hand, the application for current and transfer students will open on January 15, 2025, and the application deadline will be on March 15, 2025. Applications for enrollment will not require the ACT/SAT to enter into the Honors College; however, applicants will be reviewed holistically to include a completed application, essays, transcript evaluation, extracurricular involvement, letters of recommendation, and interview (if applicable).
