The Page-Lake Powell Scholarship provides funding for Navajo college students studying in engineering, construction, or related fields which may enhance economic development. The Bradford White Corporation Scholarship will be awarded to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a career in the p-h-c industry. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or plan to enroll in: (1) A PHCC-approved plumbing or HVACR apprentice program or the Foundation's Fast Track to Service & Repair online courses. Apprentices or technicians must also be working full-time for a licensed plumbing or HVAC contractor who is a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association. Approved courses of study are plumbing or HVACR installation, service and repair. (2) A full-time certificate or degree program at an accredited two-year community college, technical college, or trade school, with a major directly related to the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Approved majors are: business management; mechanical CAD design; construction management with a specialty in mechanical construction; and plumbing or HVACR installation, service and repair. (3) A full-time undergraduate degree program at an accredited four-year college or university, with a major directly related to the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Approved majors are: business management; construction management with a specialization in mechanical construction; and mechanical engineering. A maximum of four employees from any one employer may win an award in any given year. This scholarship is also open to Canadian citizen apprentices enrolled in a PHCC-approved plumbing or HVACR apprentice program. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from the PHCC business owner or their manager. It is optional but applicants may also submit their grades and a letter of recommendation from their apprentice program instructor. Scholarships may be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a trade school, college, or university, or a high school senior provisionally accepted at an educational institution and expressing intent to pursue a degree or certified trade program with at least a 3.0 GPA or B Average Equivalent. A written statement from the educational institution where the trade-related, undergraduate or graduate work will be undertaken, indicating provisional acceptance of the student at the institution must be submitted. Two letters of recommendation, submitted by persons at least 18 years of age who are not related to the candidate, are also required. Only one letter of recommendation may come from a Director of MRCA, however, none may come from a Director of the MRCA Foundation. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of academic performance, employment experience, financial need, letters of recommendation, and a demonstrated desire to pursue higher education. The Associated General Contractors NYS Scholarship Program will award scholarships to students who must be New York State residents. They may be attending a school outside of New York. Applicants must be seriously intent upon a career in the building, highway or utility construction industry. Applicants must pursue a Bachelor or Associate degree in construction or construction-related engineering. Students must reapply each year for up to three years of undergraduate study. Graduate students (Master's) are also eligible for a one-year scholarship if they are studying full-time for an advanced construction-related field and are intent upon a career in the industry. Three evaluation forms must be submitted: any combination of college faculty or college academic advisors, employers or adults not related to the applicant and preferably in the industry. The NASCLA Scholarship Program is designed to help students pursue licenses, certificates and/or certifications in the construction industry preparing them for gainful employment. These scholarships provide a chance for three recipients to be awarded up to $5,000 towards program tuition. The scholarship awards include a complimentary invitation to the NASCLA 2025 Annual Conference for each recipient, including travel arrangements and hotel accommodations. The undergraduate study program shall be in the area of concrete with an emphasis on structural design, materials, or construction. No internship is required. The ACI Foundation is serving the industry by establishing and distributing scholarships to high potential students in concrete-related degree programs. Applicants must be a student in a concrete-related degree program such as civil engineering, structuring engineering, concrete science and technology, concrete industry management, etc. during the entire award term (Fall 2026 - Spring 2027). To be eligible for an undergraduate scholarship, the applicant must be a full-time undergraduate at the time of applying for and during the entire award cycle. Applicants must be students in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Applicants must submit two endorsements. Endorsements are statements of evaluation of the applicant, in terms of potential for growth, character, leadership capacity and career interest. Endorsements must be in the English language. One endorser must be an ACI member (non-student) and the other should be an employer, if possible, or a professor. This scholarship was established to honor Mr. Weinberg for his long-time service in managing the Scholarship Program as Chair of the Scholarship Council.
