Description

The 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in 2006 by the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans. The scholarship's goal is to promote awareness of the accomplishments of the 100th Infantry Battalion veterans of WWII and to perpetuate its legacy of continuing service by rewarding direct descendants of the veterans who demonstrate these values and beliefs. Applicants must be a direct descendant of a 100th Infantry Battalion World War II veteran. They must be students who are active in extra-curricular activities and community service. Applicants do not need to be a Hawaii resident and do not need to demonstrate financial need. Applicants will identify the name of the veteran and their relationship. Verification will be confirmed through the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Office Manager. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Hawai'i Community Foundation for more information.
