The 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in 2006 by the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans. Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student, attending an accredited college or university. They must be a full-time student (12 credits undergraduate, 6-9 credits graduate). Applicants must be a direct descendant of a 100th Infantry Battalion World War II veteran. They must show potential for promoting the legacy of the 100th Infantry Battalion of World War II. Applicants must also be active in extra-curricular activities and community service. They do not need to be a Hawaii resident and do not need to demonstrate financial need. Applicants must identify the name of the veteran and their relationship. Verification will be confirmed through the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Office Manager.
