ADF/North American Flight Control Dispatch Certificate Scholarship, with an application deadline in October, offers numerous awards of $4600 each.

Description

The Airline Dispatchers Federation, in conjunction with North American Flight Control LLC, is offering WAI members a scholarship to earn their Aircraft Dispatcher's FAA 121 certificate. The scholarship will cover tuition, books, instruction, and training required to take the aircraft dispatch written test and checkride with an FAA 121 examiner for certification, and the FAA examiner's fees for the written and oral examination. The scholarship recipient is responsible for the cost of transportation to/from North American Flight Control LLC, lodging, and meals during training. The recipient must schedule and complete his/her training with North American Flight Control prior to Dec. 31, 2024. Applicants must be a current member of Women in Aviation International by October 1, 2024, and their membership must not expire before March 2025. Two professional letters of recommendation are required. Letters may not be from family members.
