Air Force Sergeants Association Scholarship Program, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $2500 each.

Description

The Air Force Sergeants Association Scholarship Program will award scholarships to unmarried child/adopted or stepchild of active duty, retired or veteran military members, Joint Services, enlisted and Commissioned Officers. Applicants must be 12th-year high school students or college undergraduate students enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university. The sponsor must be a member or AFSA/Auxiliary for at least 1 year prior to the March 31st cut-off date. Applicants must be dependent upon their parents or guardians for over one-half of their support. All applicants must include a letter of recommendation in their application. If the applicant is a high school graduate, the letter must be written by the school's principal or a high school counselor. If the applicant is currently a college student, the letter must be written by a college professor, or if the applicant is a first-year college student, the letter may be written by the applicant's high school principal.
