Airmen Memorial Foundation Scholarship Program, with an application deadline in April, offers numerous awards of $5000 each.

Description

The AMF conducts scholarship programs to financially assist the undergraduate studies of eligible dependents of military personnel. Applicants may be unmarried children, adopted or stepchildren of active duty, retired or veteran members of USAF, ANG or AFRC. No officer dependents. Applicants may be 12th-year high school students or college undergraduate students enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university. No membership requirements on the part of the applicant or sponsor. Applicants must be dependent upon their parents or guardians for over one-half of their support. All applicants must submit a letter of recommendation. If the applicant is a high school graduate, the letter must be written by the school's principal or a high school counselor. If the applicant is currently a college student, the letter must be written by a college professor, or if the applicant is a first-year college student, the letter may be written by the applicant's high school principal.
