Description

The Alice Waldron Endowed Scholarship is available to a full-time undergraduate student who demonstrates academic achievement with a minimum high school grade point average of 3.2 as an entering freshman or a 3.3 GPA as a continuing undergraduate student, financial hardship, not necessarily as defined by the federal government, community involvement for the betterment of William Paterson University, and who is from the city of Paterson, New Jersey. Incoming students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for this scholarship. Academic performance is reviewed each semester, and students who do not satisfy the criteria for the renewal of their scholarship award are notified in writing.
