Description

The American Association of University Women Scholarship, funded by the Longmont AAUW Branch, awards up to $1,000 annually to support women pursuing careers in education, health, or fields where women remain underrepresented. Applicants must have graduated from a St. Vrain Valley School District high school or currently reside within the district, hold a high school diploma, and have completed at least 30 college credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The scholarship is open to women working toward an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or certificate at an accredited U.S. college or university, either full-time or part-time. Continuing education units or certifications for licensing renewal or salary advancement are not eligible. Prior recipients may reapply. Applications require a college transcript with fall grades, resume, and essay.
