Eligibility

AMWPA Merit Award Medical Students, with an application deadline in October, offers 4 awards of $1000 each.

Description

The AMWPA Merit Award Medical Students will be awarded to students who are in a Texas medical school, one award is reserved for an out of state medical student. Applicants must have parents who are not physicians (exceptions will be made if parents never practiced as physicians). Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited medical school in the USA. Once a medical student receives a merit award, she is not eligible to reapply.
