Ancestry HistoryMakers Scholarship, with an application deadline in October, offers 10 awards of $2500 each.

Description

Ancestry is committed to enhancing education and empowering the next generation of history makers. This is why they are proud to sponsor the 2025 HistoryMakers Scholarship Fund, designed to support current undergraduate and graduate students who will be enrolled from the Fall 2025 semester through the Spring 2026 semester at universities participating in the HistoryMakers Tour. Applicants to the Ancestry's HistoryMakers Scholarship Program may be a high school senior or high school graduate (entering undergraduate study Fall 2025), current college undergraduate or graduate student. They must be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at one of the following United States or United Kingdom universities from Fall 2025 semester through Spring 2026 semester: Bowie State University; California State University, Sacramento; Florida International University; Tennessee State University; Queen Mary University (UK); University of Westminster (UK); City, University of London (UK); University of Greenwich (UK). Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Marketing, Finance, Business Economics, Business Management, Cybersecurity, or User Experience.
