Description

The Andrew York Memorial Scholarship was established by Chelan County PUD employees to honor the memory of a co-worker, Andrew York, who was killed in a tragic accident. This scholarship is available to Washington State high school seniors who are active in advocating against impaired driving. Applicants must be active in school or the community, providing awareness to prevent impaired or distracted driving caused by influences such as drug, alcohol, marijuana use or texting while driving. Preference will be given to applicants who are active members of IBEW Local 77 or a child or grandchild of an active IBEW Local 77 member with verifiable documentation.
