Description

The APS International Early-career Physiologist Travel Awards are presented to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty members who live and work outside the United States. This initiative of the International Committee is designed to assist with travel expenses that international early career physiologists incur while attending the American Physiology Summit to present their work. Applicants must be an APS member. They must be studying for a doctoral degree or have received a doctoral degree within the past seven years. Applicants must not be above the rank of assistant professor or equivalent. The application package must include an abstract submitted to the Summit under the topic category of the Section to which the applicant's research is relevant; a letter of support detailing the applicant's role in the abstract; and the applicant's biosketch (National Institutes of Health or National Science Foundation format). Please visit the award's website or contact the American Physiological Society for more information.
