Description

The New Investigators Research Grant is designed to help further new investigators' research activities by funding one-year, preliminary studies that could launch larger-scale research studies. The investigator must have completed a PhD or equivalent research doctorate in communication sciences and disorders within the past five years (since 2018). Students currently enrolled in a degree program are not eligible for this research grant. The proposal should be in a one PDF document containing all required sections in the order indicated: Investigator Letter, Research Abstract, Research Plan, References and/or Appendices, Management Plan and Budget, Investigator Biographical Sketch, IRB Approval (Human Subject approval), Key Personnel (optional), Letter of Institutional Commitment; and Letters of Support (optional). Additional attachments will not be accepted. The ASH Foundation requests that potential investigators complete an Intent to Submit Form by March 1 to provide information regarding their proposed studies. Kindly visit the scholarship's website for more information.
