B. Bradford Floyd Award, with an application deadline in June, offers one award that varies in amount.

Description

The B. Bradford Floyd Award will be awarded to the most deserving student who is aspiring to become a CPA. This student will be identified using all criteria evaluated by the selection committee. The Educational and Memorial Foundation Scholarship of TSCPA makes scholarships available to TSCPA student members who have completed introductory accounting courses and are planning to sit for the CPA Exam. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply if they meet the eligibility requirements. Students transitioning from a 2-year community college to a 4-year university are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be residents of Tennessee or attending a Tennessee college or university. They must have completed at least 3 semester hours (or equivalent) in accounting by the end of spring 2025. Applicants must be majoring in accounting, finance, or related fields and planning to obtain their CPA designation. They must be attending college during the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants are required to submit two letters of recommendation, one must be from an accounting professor from the university the applicant is attending.
