Description

Through the generosity of Dr. Rick Workman and his wife, the Bell Leadership Institute Achievers Program are being offered tuition free as part of a leadership development trajectory with a goal of preparing promising mid-career dental faculty for future deanships. The Achievers Program is a three-day in-person meeting held at The Carolina Inn on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus. This program offering is restricted to full-time U.S. dental faculty. To be considered for the Bell Leadership Institute Achievers Program, individuals must be nominated. All nominees and their representative institutions must be ADEA members. Nominees must be full-time employees of the institution. They must hold the title of Assistant/Associate Dean or Department Chair. Nominees must have been in the aforementioned leadership role a minimum of two years. They must have a desire for a future deanship or other leadership position in higher education. Nominees must submit a brief letter of endorsement by the dental faculty member's dean that indicates the nominee's promise for a future higher education leadership role.
