Description

The Cayetano Foundation provides opportunities in higher education to exceptional Hawai'i students, especially those who have demonstrated perseverance and determination in the face of difficult financial and social obstacles. Governor Benjamin Cayetano's personal experiences and awareness of the hardships of others were part of the impetus for creating the Ben and Vicky Cayetano Scholarship Fund in Memory of Brandon F. Cayetano. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. Minimum of one award to a graduate of Damien Memorial School (the remaining awards can be awarded to graduates of any public or private Hawaii high school).
