Eligibility

CEUfast Graduate Nursing Scholarship, with an application deadline in August, offers one award in the amount of $5000.

Description

The CEUfast Graduate Nursing Scholarship will be awarded to those who are enrolled in a nationally accredited MSN, DNP, PhD, or post-masters nursing program, either through ACEN or CCNE accreditation. Applicants must have completed at least one semester in their current nursing program. They must be a U.S. Citizen or an international student attending a U.S. nursing program. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write a nursing-focused continuing education (CE) course. One outstanding CE course will be selected to be published and featured on CEUfast. The CE course must be designed to promote and enrich knowledge, improve skills, and develop attitudes that enhance practice, thereby improving healthcare for the public. Examples include new knowledge, knowledge applied in a different practice setting or specialty patient group, or advanced practice in a specialty area. Course content must be relevant to the practice of a healthcare professional, must be related to the scientific knowledge or technical skills needed for practice, or must be related to direct or indirect patient care. Applicants must choose their course topic from this pre-selected list of approved topics: Common Skin Conditions (adults and pediatrics); Injuries of the Eye; Drowning; Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH); Gender-Affirming Care; Neurodevelopmental Disorders; Antibiotic Resistance in Hospitals; Nutrition; Genetic Conditions Page 2; Neonatal Neurology; Complex Regional Pain Syndrome; Psychotherapy Modalities; or Headache Management (adults and pediatrics).
