Charm Satree Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers one award in the amount of $1200. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Charm Satree Scholarship was established in 2022. Charm Satree was a pioneer in her field as a successful woman in male-dominated industries related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Charm was passionate about removing barriers and supporting young women in nontraditional careers. Applicants must be a current graduating senior or former graduate from a high school in Nebraska and plan to attend any qualified, nonprofit college or university. Preference will be given to females with demonstrated leadership and participation in school and/or community activities or work experience. Preference will also be given to females pursuing a field of study in a traditionally male-dominated field such as automotive or aviation technology, carpentry, construction, diesel or electrical technology, engineering, HVAC, machinery, manufacturing, plumbing, robotics, or welding.
