Description

The College Scholarship for Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington is available to club members who are graduating high school seniors. This scholarship focuses on students who have a strong work ethic and desire to improve themselves. This scholarship is renewable. Preference will be given to renewal applicants that are working at least 10 hours per week. Applicants must be a current member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington. In addition to current members of the B&G Clubs of SWWA, low-income high school volunteers and students that are connected to the Boys and Girls Clubs in nontraditional ways are also eligible to apply. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited public or private post-secondary educational institution (including two-year community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, and vocational, trade, technical or career schools) located in the United States. Applicants may upload one letter of recommendation from a person who can speak to their character, leadership, talents, and academic record. Letters from immediate or extended family members will not be accepted. This letter is not required, but is strongly recommended.
