Conservation Officers of Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund, with an application deadline in February, offers one award in the amount of $1000. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Conservation Officers of Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships for students enrolled or planning to enroll in a degree program studying the conservation of wildlife and related fields. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current undergraduate student. They must pursue a degree or studies in biology, conservation studies, ecology, environmental studies, wildlife, or a related field. Financial need is considered but not required. Applicants must have or have had a Pennsylvania hunting license. Preference will be given to students associated with Conservation Officers of Pennsylvania (COPA), the PA Game Commission or the PA Fish and Boat Commission.
