$55,000
Eligibility
Cooke College Scholarship Program, with an application deadline in November, offers numerous awards of $55000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.Description
The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. The amount of the award varies by student, based on the cost of attendance as well as the amount of other scholarships or grants a recipient will receive. Each award may fund all or a portion of educational costs, including tuition, room and board, books, and other required fees for the period required to complete your bachelor's degree program (lasting no more than four years). Applicants must complete four years of high school in the U.S., a U.S territory, or on a U.S. military base and plan to graduate in spring 2026. They must intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college beginning in fall 2026. There is no minimum score requirement to apply, however, applicants must have taken one (or more) of these tests (SAT, ACT, AP, or IB exam) and submit the score. Applicants must have a family annual gross income up to $95,000. Applicants must submit two academic recommendations; one recommendation must be from an 11th grade teacher in a core academic subject and the second recommendation can come from another core subject teacher or professor who has worked with the applicant any time since ninth grade. In addition to the academic recommendations, applicants are also required to submit one counselor recommendation from their high school counselor. If there is no Counselor at the school, applicants may list their principal or other school official, international or domestic, who has overseen their academic progress. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation for more information.
