Description

The Leadership for Diversity Teacher Librarian Scholarship recognizes the need for teacher librarians who reflect the diversity of California's multicultural, multilingual population. Applicants must be from a traditionally underrepresented group and be enrolled in an accredited teacher librarian credential program. Applicants must be a current CSLA member. Applicants must be working, or intend to work, as a teacher librarian in California and be enrolled in a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing accredited teacher librarian credential program. Two letters of recommendation and a college transcript or other enrollment verification must be submitted. Accepted letters of recommendations may be written by current supervisor, course instructor, classroom teacher, or principal. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
