Description

The David L. Smith Scholarship was endowed by a gift from Mr. David Smith and his wife, Elberta, in 1988. Mr. Smith, a 1950 Electrical Engineering graduate of Georgia Tech, retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1972. While in the Air Force he served in engineering assignments on communication, electronics, and command and control projects.
