Description

The Davis United World College Scholars are exceptional young people who have graduated from a UWC school and then matriculated at selected U.S. colleges or universities. Before coming to the U.S., UWC Scholars were chosen by special, independent committees in their home countries to complete the last two years of high school at one of the United World College schools. UWC schools are located in Armenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Swaziland, Tanzania, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Graduates from any UWC school who enroll at Johns Hopkins University will be designated Davis UWC Scholars and become part of the active cluster of UWC alumni. Those Davis UWC Scholars who apply and qualify for need-based financial aid through Office of Student Financial Support are also eligible for financial support from the Davis UWC Scholars Program for their undergraduate educations.
