Description

The Dr. Julius Bajet Soria Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Julius Bajet Soria, PhD who was an assistant professor at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Dr. Soria inspired and empowered college and high school students to achieve their educational goals. The purpose of the scholarship is to support students of Filipino descent to pursue higher education at an accredited college or university in the state of Hawai'i. The donor requires applicants to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 if they are undergraduate students, and a minimum GPA of 3.5 if they are graduating high school seniors. Applicants must also be a graduate of a Hawai'i public high school. Preference will be given to students of Ilokano ancestry. Two letters of recommendation are required.
