Description

The Dr. William Masaru Shigekawa Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of Dr. William Masaru Shigekawa. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide scholarship grants. The donor requires applicants to be a graduate student pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. Preference will be given to a graduate of King Kekaulike High School or a graduate of a Maui high school. Preference will also be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.
