Description

The Edward and Dorothy Livingston Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to deserving students at hospital nursing schools and nursing schools which are a part of degree granting colleges and universities located in Allegheny County, PA; particularly students who have faced educational barriers due to systemic gender inequity. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current undergraduate enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited school in Allegheny County (PA). Preference will be given to junior or senior level applicants in a four-year institution and second-year students in a two-year program. Preference will be given to applicants who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement. Preference will be given to applicants who have faced social, economic, or educational barriers due to systemic gender inequity.
