Description

The Emory and Brennis Floyd Scholarship was established by Bill Floyd '70, M.B.A. '75, a representative for State Farm Insurance. This fund was established to honor his parents, Emory and Brennis Floyd. Preference for this award is given to a student who is steady and hardworking and demonstrates strong integrity. Current students are eligible for a number of endowed scholarships once they have completed one full semester at Samford and attained a 3.0 overall GPA. Applications are sent to all undergraduate business students at the start of the spring term. Students may visit the scholarship's website or contact Samford One Stop for more information.
