eQuality Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors and Recent High School Graduates, with an application deadline in January, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The eQuality Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors and Recent High School Graduates will be awarded to students who are residents of or attend a high school in northern or central California. They must have completed or expect to complete high school (or equivalent) between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2026; and plan to attend or begin attending a U.S. accredited post-secondary institution for the first time in 2026. Applicants must have demonstrated service to the LGBT+ community. Applicants of all sexual orientations and gender identities are eligible. The criteria on which scholarship recipients will be selected include service to the LGBT+ community, leadership, hardship or special circumstances, and academic achievement. Finalists will be interviewed by Zoom videoconference or phone. Interviews are expected to be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, and Saturday, March 21, 2026.
